This is so cool. Nah, didn’t do it for the coolness. It’s because my primary OS is Windows (Yes, laugh. I’m most efficient at it) but I need to use a Linux software for schoolwork. Rebooting is too much work.
The screenshot was taken from my desktop, with a 1GB of RAM and assigned 512MB to each OS. Tried to do it earlier on my laptop with 512MB RAM (256MB each) but was too slow to be useful. Would need a RAM upgrade really soon.
The best thing of virtualization is the state saving feature. With that, it makes booting and resuming work damn easy. Like Palm, except a few seconds more - a power button pressed and it’s on, no booting whatsoever, and back to the state where you last saved it.
Found this random chat thing on digg. Basically it hooks you up on a 1-to-1 chat with a random person.
Tried it out and my chat went like this:

Entrepreneur 27 Singapore event, E27 3.0: Startup Republic, last Wednesday was great. Not only that I’ve met quite a few interesting people, the unconference itself is quite fun on its own - nothing like I’ve ever experienced before in a normal conference setting. It was chaotic, in a good way, makes people feel at ease at opening up and voicing their opinion.
If you have missed out on the wonderful event, Michael from PodcastGearGuide.com has created a podcast specially for this event so you could listen to how stupid I sound again and again and again.
The podcast is brought to us by PodcastGearGuide.com. They have some kind of promotion going on right now to get people to kickstart their podcast idea. So do check them out!
Poker is going to be big in Singapore pretty soon. Yes, you hear it here first. As a poker player myself, I’m really happy for that. No longer have I need to wait for weeks just to have a single home game at the other end of the island.
Not only is Singapore going to be hosting the first Asian Poker Tour, Singapore is going to be probably one of the first Asian countries to show poker on its national TV.
WPT Enterprises announced that it had inked a deal with Macau Cable in Macau and MediaCorp in Singapore to air the WPT (World Poker Tour).
Macau Cable will soon air the first season of the WPT, while MediaCorp, the largest broadcaster in Singapore, will start with the second season.
XML-RPC ping is working. XML-RPC server is up and running.
OK, that was just a test. But since it is working fine, I am reluctant to remove this post for it would be first post to ping ping.sg via XML-RPC Ping Service. :)
Do try out if you’re a ping.sg user. Even if you do not use Wordpress, you can still benefit from the new improved easier ping service, no longer having to cut and paste permalinks, excerpts, etc. Just click “Update Now”! :)
Been working so hard on this throughout the weekend almost without rest. Glad to see it’s working now, at least my weekend isn’t wasted.
Do report bugs to me if you encounter any problems.
