Thanks to Adrian, who has spent so much of his own personal time to collect, rip and post all the past Electronic Music Lab (EML) release to archive.org.
Now anyone can listen to past EML release and best of all, it’s free, not just gratis-ly but libre-ly as well - you can download and tracks and make remixes out of them!
Thanks Adrian for setting up our very own netlabel.
Check out the netlabel details page and all of its releases so far. Feel free to download an album or two, or all of them.

E27 3.0: Startup Republic
When: September 13th (Wed) @ 7pm - 11pm
Where: SMU School of Information Systems, Level 2, Student Lounge.
Cost: Free. Zero. Nada…
I will be giving a presentation-cum-demo on ping.sg at the upcoming E27 meetup. I would be talking about my motivation in creating the community site, the model behind it, future plans for ping.sg and probably about web technology as well. Would also love to hear some feedback from ping.sg users or soon-to-be users as well through the Q&A session.
So do sign up at the E27 3.0 wiki (click edit and leave your name) if you’re interested about entrepreneurship, technology, business or would just love to make more friends.
See you there!
More details on the event are available right here.

PKR.com, the first 3D internet poker room.
Just heard about it last night and tried it out. It indeed feels like playing live poker with real person, with the table, chips, cards, speeches, expressions (though they’re triggered) and even chip trick, pretty cool.
Just that it’s rather slow for an internet poker. When you’re playing things online, you want everything to be fast and have minimal waiting time. Look at how fast a FIFA WorldCup computer game is compared to a real life football game. And without multi-tabling capability, I think the site is only nice for newbies who are still learning the game, not for serious real money players.
I don’t see how the site is going to make money if it’s not getting many real money players, and for now, if I’m not mistaken, they’re not allowing the Americans to play for real money there. And as we all know, the Americans are the largest poker playing group.
If you’re learning poker (hint to my EE4214 group members), it is a good site to check out. But for serious poker players, it’s too slow and too heavy on graphics.
Hmm, this blog probably would need a poker category soon.
Anyway, do check out some of the in-game videos from PKR on Youtube.
