Break, In KL
It has been really hectic for the past few weeks. With the launch of ping.sg, TODAY’s feed featured on paper, endless support calls from clients and rushing datelines as my university vacation is going to end soon, I have not had much rest or much of a life for the crazy 2 weeks or so.
My daily life was roughly the same everyday, wake up at 9 or 10am and start work while having breakfast, and continue until the end of the day, which is about 3am, with lunch and dinner breaks. If you think doing freelance, or being your own boss is nice as you can plan your schedule as you wish, think again. Own schedule planning is nice, like I can wake up as late as 10am everyday, but having to shoulder all the responsibilities alone is never fun.
I’m on a break right now, blogging from my girlfriend’s house in Kuala Lumpur. It is kind of nice to take a break sometimes, as I normally work 7 days a week. It makes me feel like I’m recharing my batteries and I finally have time to actually look around and read some books or simply just idling around.
Would be going to Genting with Sek Ling this coming weekend. Looking forward to it. The last time we went was about a year ago and it was quite fun.
Will be back next week in Singapore. Have a nice weekend to all of you. Do take a break and spend time with your family if you have had a tough time at work.
By the way, does anybody know of any free wireless hotspots in KL? Does Coffee Bean / Starbucks in Malaysia provide free wifi service? I’ll try to do a little work when my girlfriend’s working during the weekday.
By the way, thanks Bernard for publishing this little interview of mine.
Keep pinging away!
