OS Installation Exercise

I think I’ve seen the OS installation screen more than 10 times for the last 7 days.

No, I didn’t format the whole of my desktop or my laptop.

A couple of times for the installation of Windows XP on a virtual machine on my desktop. This is for final year project.
And another couple of times for the installation of Linux on my laptop’s partition. This is for a project on embeded systems.

Why so many times? As I am a total noob in these stuff. Kept tweaking here and there without knowing much and end up having to reinstall.

I hope I wouldn’t have to install another OS for the next couple of months. I’m so sick of it.

Sick of studies even more.

  1. Don’t worry Uzyn, it’s finishing soon. Just enjoy the ride, you’ll miss study after you start working. =)

  2. Lemme guess it’s for EE4214 Real Time Embedded Systems? If it is, that module was a pain, I remember the sleepless nights and walking back to PGP at 4/5am. Anyway all the best and if you need any help seniors are always good sources of information =p

  3. it’s not just you uzyn…I face the similar fate as well. Gave up to original softwares finally.

But yet the problem ain’t solved. I suspect it’s my monitor’s setting, always went blank on me after turning it on again. Wonder if you have any suggestion…LCD or graphic card problem? For sure not software problem liao (me thinks)
