Where is my December?
Everyone’s having a good time in December, but definitely not me.
I think I have overloaded myself with commitments and work this December.
Here are some of them, in summary:
- Ping.sg - I am working with a designer and also improving its functionality and usability to get it ready for the upcoming version 1. I am very much excited about this and I wish I can devote my entire effort on this though I know I can’t.
- Final Year Project - I’m struggling in this. I was pretty ok with it at first but as it progresses, I am becoming more and more lethargic about this project with more bugs and bad codings that are in the simulator that I am using. Just done with my Continual Assessment 2 presentations and now am in a great deal of pressure to achieve some target by the next semester.
- Client web development works - I am taking up not many jobs this holiday but with all the pressures, it is becoming quite tough for me. One job that I have taken up is pretty challenging for me even though I have been doing this for more than a year. I will be designing a SISTIC-like e-ticketing system for a PRC company. This job requires me to communicate and work closely with programmers in China. The world is getting really borderless now. On top of that, there are also some in-progress jobs that I have to complete for my existing clients.
I guess everyone goes through this every now and then.
At least I’m getting my break next week, by going to Thailand for vacation with my girl. Now I’m looking forward to that temporary escape plan.
