Who is Netscape?

Why is he keep making the news since yesterday?

With so many articles on Digg, a few on Slashdot, some on TechCrunch, ArsTechnica, Lockergnome and practically all major technology news site, I figure he must be some important person.

What’s with all the news about? Some site revamp? That’s all? Seriously, why do the geeks care?

As far as I know, Netscape is just some portal from a domain name that refuses to die. I honestly don’t see what the big fuss is all about.

Please, shut up about Netscape already. Give me some real tech news.
